Born on July 1st, 1967 in Ladysmith, British
Columbia, Anderson was born into the spotlight as she was the first baby
to be born on Canada's 100th birthday. She had a very average and normal
high school experience. She was athletic, had braces, and was involved
with music (played saxophone).
Although being born on Canada’s Centennial
did get Anderson some fame, what really catapulted her into stardom was in
1989 while attending a professional football game in Vancouver. When the
camera in the stadium caught a glimpse of Anderson and her Labatt's beer
t-shirt, the image appeared on the stadium's jumbo screen. The crowd went
crazy in excitement and Labatt immediately knew what they had to do. In an
effort to promote the company, they hired Anderson as a poster girl where
she appeared in bars across the country. Due to her successful ad
campaign, Playboy later approached her to appear in their magazine. She
agreed and quickly became a standout. The Playboy shoots just came piling
in as she appeared in magazine after magazine. It wasn’t long before her
acting career came into play. After landing a few small roles in various
shows, an offer came from a new show entitled Baywatch, where she
would play a lifeguard named C.J. Parker. Soon after, Baywatch’s
popularity grew to immense proportions as did Andersons’. With her newly
acquired popularity, she began to appear in more films and television
shows. Barb Wire(1996), one of her first lead roles attracted
barely any viewers. She continued to try and diversify her career by
starring in movies like Scary Movie 3(2003). Even with all the new
offers, television continued to be her main focus. In 1998, Anderson
starred and produced a fairly popular show entitled V.I.P. (Valerie
Irons Protection). With a steady audience, the show stayed on the air till
2002, when it was finally cancelled. Soon after she accepted a role on a
new and popular cartoon show, Stripperella (2003-). She continued
on lengthening her list of roles by starring in a new FOX show, Stacked.
Since first appearing in early 2005, the show has generated some quality
reviews and it looks like at this point that the show will continue with
its success.

Although Anderson had an extensive modeling and acting
career, much of her fame came from her relationship with Tommy Lee,
drummer for the band Mötley Crüe. After meeting him for the first time
just a few days earlier, the two decided to get married and in February
of 1995 they were wed. It was not before long that the infamous and
controversial pornographic video were stolen from their home and
displayed on the internet. In 1992 the couple broke up and divorced,
ending an extensively followed relationship.

Anderson a novelist too? It seems like anyone can write
a book these days and be successful. Her first book entitled Star
was released in 2004 and she is already looking to release the sequel,
Star Struck sometime soon.

In addition to her acting and writing career, Anderson
is also an involved Animal Rights advocate. Although many argue that she
does not know most of the Animal Rights issues, at least she is trying.
